The FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) returns to Oulton Park for the first time since 1993 this October when the Cheshire circuit hosts the opening Thursday evening (3 October) special stage of this year’s Wales Rally GB (3-6 October).
For many rally fans, this event will be their first opportunity in 2019 to experience the latest generation of superfast World Rally Cars and to witness the extreme skills of star drivers such as multiple World champion Sébastien Ogier, Thierry Neuville, Ott Tänak and local heroes Kris Meeke and Elfyn Evans.
The Oulton Park Special Stage layout will incorporate the picturesque circuit and the venue's own rally course. A full evening of entertainment is planned, with appearances from WRC legends and iconic vehicles, live music and DJs and an autograph session which will be open to all spectators. The WRC rally action will commence shortly after 7pm.
The event will also feature a special showcase celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Wales Rally, with iconic cars from past eras on display including significant Ford Escorts, Group B machines and victorious cars rallied by British heroes Colin McRae and Richard Burns.
The evening event will be the curtain-raiser for round 12 of the 2019 FIA World Rally Championship, with 22 special stages totalling more than 200 miles of world class against-the-clock competition.
PLEASE NOTE: TICKETS ARE ONLY AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE IN ADVANCE UNTIL 23:59 ON MONDAY 30 SEPTEMBER AND WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE ON THE GATE.
MSV SEASON PASSES ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THIS EVENT.
